As CadetStuff's Special Projects man, Lt Col Dave Jadwin is our Jack of All Trades. He handles the
scut work that nobody else wants to do. Plus, being in the Las Vegas area, he's our resident
bookie. Dave was our point man as we partnerned with The Spaatz
Association to put on a cadet-friendly hospitality suite and
activities at the 2003 Civil Air Patrol National Board meeting in
Vegas.
Lt Col Jadwin joined Minnesota Wing's Valley Composite Squadron as a 12-year-old in 1984. Throughout his 8 1/2 years as a cadet, he completed all four phases of the cadet program while working in all three CAP missions.

Additional responsibilities included a term each as Minnesota Wing and North Central Region CAC Chairperson. As a cadet, he also earned the Ground Team Member, Scanner, Flight Line Officer, Communication Unit Director and Information Officer emergency services ratings.

One of his fondest memories was when he completed the MN Wing Solo Encampment and earned his wings almost 2 years before he learned to drive, and all of the BlackCap activities in Red Wing.

In his 'spare time,' he volunteers for the American Red Cross as a First Aid/CPR instructor, all while holding down a "real" job in the Casino/Hotel industry in Las Vegas as a test dummy for thrill rides.
